Designed to help correct the shape of the nail and relieve associated ingrown nail problems.
There are 3 types available depending on your nail thickness:
- Thin wire for nails 1–2 mm thick
- Standard wire for nails 2–3 mm thick
- Fort (strong) wire for thicker nails
For best results, it is recommended to apply Oniko Thinning Lotion on nails 2 mm or thicker before wire application.
If the pain is intense, it may be helpful to use Oniko Lotion for 4–5 days to reduce discomfort before applying the wire.
If the two sides of the ingrown nail are not equal in length, wait for the shorter side to grow.
To support this, apply Oniko Lotion for 1 week, followed by Oniko Cushion for 2–3 weeks, then proceed with wire application when the nail is ready.
⚠️ If you are unable to apply the wire or if the pain is severe, do not force it.
Applying Oniko Lotion 6 times a day for 10 seconds may help prepare the nail for wire placement within a week.
The wire can also be used solely for shape correction, helping to prevent the nail from curling inward
